  El presente trabajo tiene como propósito, evaluar los antecedentes, desarrollo, situación actual y perspectivas del cooperativismo en el modelo económico cubano. En el artículo, se estudian, desde los antecedentes del surgimiento del cooperativismo agropecuario, hasta sus etapas, haciendo énfasis en los problemas que en el orden objetivo y subjetivo afectan el normal desarrollo de estas formas de propiedad y gestión. Finalmente se realiza un breve análisis del surgimiento de las cooperativas en otros sectores de la economía, evaluando las premisas e importancia de esta transformación en el orden económico, productivo y social.

  The present work has as purpose, to evaluate the antecedents, development, current situation and perspectives of the cooperative in the Cuban economic pattern. In the article, they are studied, from the antecedents of the emergence of the agricultural cooperative, until their stages, making emphasis in the problems that affect the normal development in these ways of property and administration in the objective and subjective order. Finally he/she is carried out a brief analysis of the emergence of the cooperatives in other sectors of the economy, evaluating the premises and importance of this transformation in the economic, productive and social order.
