EL cuerpo como morada del monstruo en el cine de terror contemporáneo

    El cine de terror alumbrado en los últimos cuarenta años es una pieza más de esa compleja y difusa maquinaria que es el arte contemporáneo y, más concretamente, el postmoderno. La especial relevancia que lo corporal ha adquirido en este género durante dicho período constituye el principal punto de conexión entre éste y su contexto artístico. Ilustrar dicha vinculación a partir de un fenómeno temático e iconográfico concreto, el del cuerpo entendido como habitáculo del monstruo, es el propósito de este trabajo.

    The horror cinema created in the last forty years is one more piece of this complex and diffuse machinery that is the contemporary art, and more concretely the postmodern one. The special relevance that the body thing has acquired in this kind during the above mentioned period constitutes the principal point of connection between this one and its artistic context. To illustrate the previously mentioned link from a thematic and iconographic concrete phenomenon, that of the body understood as cockpit of the monster, it is the intention of this work.
