  Existe evidencia suficiente y de buena calidad que respalda a las Prueba Integrada y la Prueba Integrada Sérica como las de mejor rendimiento. Esta supone tasas de detección por encima del 75%, con tasas de falsos positivos en torno al 1%. Hay otras alternativas con similares tasas de detección, pero con tasas de falsos positivos mayores. Según los estudios analizados las mujeres prefieren las pruebas de cribado que disminuyan el periodo de incertidumbre y aporten una información precoz. Esta característica no la cumplen las pruebas con mayor efectividad y seguridad (Pruebas Integrada e Integrada Séricas) que implican que el resultado del cribado no se transmita hasta finalizadas las pruebas del 2º trimestre. En el colectivo de mujeres de alto riesgo un alto porcentaje no renuncian a que se les proporcione un diagnóstico de certeza. La estrategia más coste-efectiva, según nuestro análisis, es la Estrategia en Dos fases del Primer Trimestre, seguida de la Prueba Integrada y de la Prueba Combinada, que presentan valores semejantes en la relación coste/efectividad.

  There is sufficient good-quality evidence to demonstrate that the highest-performing tests are the Integrated Test and Integrated Serum Test. These involve detection rates of over 75% with false-positive rates of around 1%. There are other alternatives with similar detection levels, but with higher false-positive rates. In accordance with the analyzed studies women prefer screening tests that reduce the period of uncertainty and provide early detection. The tests that offer the highest levels of effectiveness and reliability (Integrated and Integrated Serum Tests) do not comply with this requirement as screening tests are not issued until the 2nd trimester tests have been completed. A high percentage of high-risk women insist on having a reliable diagnosis. According to our analysis, the most cost-effective strategy is the Two Stage Strategy in the 1st trimester, followed by the Integrated Test and the Combined Test, which offer similar cost effectiveness values.

  Proba Integratua eta Proba Integratu Serikoa errendimendu hoberena dutela indartzen duen behar besteko eta kalitatezko ebidentzia dago.
