Lawyer4Rights is a European project, funded by the European Union within the framework of the Justice Programme, created and developed by a consortium composed by the Bulgarian Lawyers for Human Rights Foundation, Italian Association of Lawyers (Associaziones Nazionale Forense, ANF), the Milan Bar Association, the Italian Federetaion of Liberal Professions (Fondazione Confprofessioni), the University of Burgos (Spain) and the General Council of Spanish Lawyers (Consejo General de la Abogacía Española). The study aims at analyzing the role of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union facing emerging challenges such as migration. Nowdays it is evident that lawyers can play a relevant social role in the application of international.
Consequently, the main scope of this project was to implement a program of training for legal practitioners with seminars, on-line trainigs and written materials in order to strengthen the protection of fundamental rights.
