Changing Methodologies in TESOL
Language Value, ISSN-e 1989-7103, Vol. 7, Vol. 1, 2015, págs. 97-99
This book joins the small library of volumes aimed at teacher trainees, under- and post-graduate students in TESOL, and those already teaching. These include the familiar titles from Brown (2000), Harmer (2007), Hedge (2000), Scrivener (2011), and most recently the new edition of Ur (2012). However, I believe Spiro?s book has a number of original features, and an overall philosophy, which makes it stand out among this distinguished company. It will certainly be useful as a complement to any single one of them, and many trainers may prefer to use it as the central plank of their courses. It is also designed in such a way as to facilitate independent use by individuals.
