Resumen

• La neutralidad durante la Gran Guerra fue un fenómeno complejo y cambiante, como lo fue el propio conflicto, adquiriendo gran importancia política desde los orígenes del mismo. Como demuestra la mayoría de los ensayos incluidos en este libro, el dilema entre neutralidad y beligerancia fraguó identidades nacionales y emociones colectivas, vigentes aún después de la terminación del conflicto.

  The neutral status in the Great War turned out to be a transformative reality as the conflict itself, acquiring top political importance from its origins. As shown by most of the compiled works in this book, the dilemma between neutrality and belligerency shaped national self-identities and collective emotions long after the war ended.
