The book "War in Ukraine: Consequences for Poland and Spain" is the sixth volume of a valuable and unique series of Polish-Spanish collective publications published by the Schedas publishing house, directed by Małgorzata Mizerska-Wrotkowska and José Luis Orella Martínez. Several of these publications have had a marked historical tendency (although referring to recent history), while a few have been linked to current events and have mainly contained texts of a political analysis nature. On this occasion, the authors of the series dealt with a very relevant topic: the impact of the Russian-Ukrainian war in Poland and Spain, but also in Europe and the world. (...) It is a valuable publication which, especially from the perspective of political science, seriously complements our knowledge of the effects of the most serious armed conflict since the end of the Second World War on the situation of two important Member States of the European Union, located at opposite ends of the Old Continent. Knowledge of historical truth contributes to a positive evolution of humanity and prevents the return of old ideologies, which once knew how to deceive and cause millions of victims. It is in this task that the Chair of History, Memory and Identity of the Institute of Historical Studies-CEU (Spain) and institutions such as The Committee of National Remembrance (NEB) (Hungary) ngary) collaborate to disseminate the truth to free societies.
