    El prólogo del libro “Jesús de Nazaret” de J. Ratzinger, permite considerar sus valoraciones del método histórico-crítico y del llamado por la PCB “acercamiento canónico”. El texto trata de analizar si existe una distinta actitud de J. Ratzinger en relación a uno y otro, y perfila una serie de conclusiones a partir de los datos obtenidos. Para ello, además de en dicho prólogo, se rastrea en dos conferencias de J. Ratzinger, siendo Prefecto de la CDF, en las que se refirió al estado de la cuestión de la exégesis en la Iglesia.

    The paper reflects from a reading of the prologue of the book “Jesus of Nazareth”, of the assessment that the author makes of the historical critical method called “the canonical approach” by the PBC; paper tries to analyze if there is a different aptitude in J. Ratzinger in relation of one to another, and shapes a series of conclusions from the obtained data. On that point, besides the prologue, the author tracks two conferences delivered by J. Ratzinger when he headed the CDF, in which he referred to the exegesis in the Church.
