    Eragin linguistikoaren ebaluaziorako tresna Tolosaldeko Lurraldearen Zatiko Planean aplikatu zen 2014ko maiatzean. Artez Euskara Zerbitzua arduratu zen tresnaren aplikazioaz, hirigintzako eta soziologia alorreko adituekin elkarlanean. Lehen kasu praktiko honek emaitza positiboak utzi ditu, inondik ere: batetik, baliagarria dela frogatu ahal izan dugu; eta, bestetik, lehen aldiz diziplina anitzeko adituak elkarlanean jarri ditu hizkuntzaren prebentzioaren gaia ardatz izanik. Lan-molde berri baterako bidean urratsak eman dira, baina ezin da ukatu bide luzea dugula oraindik egiteko. Eragin linguistikoaren ebaluaziorako tresnaren aplikazioa beharrezkoa izateko neurriak hartzea izango da hurrengo urrats nagusia eta bertan jasotako neurri zuzentzaileak lotesleak izan daitezen marko juridikoa aldatzea.

    The tool for evaluating language influence was applied in the Partial Plan of the Tolosa Area in May, 2014. The Artez Basque Service undertook to apply the tool in collaboration with experts in the areas of urban planning and sociology. There is no doubt that this first practical case has produced positive results: firstly, we have been able to show that it is useful; and secondly, it is the first time that experts from a broad range of disciplines have worked together on the subject of the prevention of language obstacles. Steps have been taken for a new system of work, but there is no doubt that there is still a long way to go. The next main step will be to take the measures needed to apply the tool for evaluating language influence and to change the legal framework so that the corrective measures gathered in it can be made binding.
