  • Launched september 2019, theGlobal Compact on Educationindicatesas the first of its seven commitments the ‘centrality of the person’. In other words, thepactassumesPersonalism as itsphilosophical anthropology when it comes tothe theorization of men’sculturalformation, that is, its paideia. With thatfirst the paperpresents personalism through Ricœur’s reading in Histoire et verité(1955) then it dealswith personalism’s applicability in a socio educational context.
