    El campo del psicoanálisis es el de lo atópico, el de la enfermedad sin órgano anatómico y el sufrimiento sin causa lógica. Desde el momento de su nacimiento con Freud, su desarrollo ha girado en torno a la carencia de fundamento, experimentado en el afecto primordial de la angustia. Por ello, el presente artículo se ha preparado con el propósito de recordar los motivos por los cuales el psicoanálisis, antes que una doctrina o un sistema referencial para la interpretación de los fenómenos de la psique humana, se erige como una práctica clínica que apela a una experiencia originaria y que, en consecuencia, tiene ciertos alcances ontológicos. Entre la ontología fundamental de Martin Heidegger y el hallazgo freudiano de lo inconsciente, puede encontrarse el vaso comunicante de la angustia, mismo que tiene el poder de abrir y renovar la pregunta por el sentido, si no del ser, sí al menos del padecer.

    The field of psychoanalysis is that of the atopic, that of the disease without an anatomic organ and the suffering without a logical cause. Since the moment of its birth with Freud, its development has revolved around the lack of foundation, experi-enced in the primary feeling of angst. Therefore, the present article has been made with the purpose to remember the reasons why the psychoanalysis, before being a doctrine or a referential system for the interpretation of the human psyche phenomena, rises as a clinical practice that appeals to a primitive experience and that, consequently, has cer-tain ontological significance. Between Martin Heidegger’s fundamental ontology and the freudian discovery of the unconscious, the communicating vessel of the angst can be found, which has the power to open and renew the question of meaning, if not of being, then at least of suffering.
