    Este artículo, publicado en francés en 1989 en las actas del coloquio “Psicoanálisis y Literatura”, se centra en una serie de tres sueños que tiene Descartes la noche del 10 de noviembre de 1619. Desafiando la advertencia freudiana, el autor se aventura a un posible análisis de estos relatos oníricos recogidos por Baillet, el primer biógrafo de Descartes, en un intento por (re)construir la trama de identificaciones inconscientes que se expresarían en el testimonio onírico del filósofo. De inestimable valor histórico, filosófico y psicoanalítico, este trabajo inédito hasta hoy en lengua española aporta materiales ineludibles para seguir explorando la imbricación entre la elaboración onírica, el psicoanálisis y los albores de la filosofía moderna occidental.

    This article, published in French in 1989 in the proceedings of the “Psycho-analysis and Literature” colloquium, focuses on a series of three dreams that Descartes had on the night of November 10, 1619. Defying the Freudian warning, the author ven-tures into a possible analysis of these dream stories collected by Baillet, the first biogra-pher of Descartes, in an attempt to (re)construct the plot of unconscious identifications that would be expressed in the dream testimony of the philosopher. This work of in-estimable historical, philosophical and psychoanalytic value, unpublished until now in Spanish language, provides inescapable material to continue exploring the interweaving between dream elaboration, psychoanalysis and the dawn of modern Western philosophy.
