    El turismo como una actividad de alto consumo de recursos naturales y culturales, que a través de sus medios de producción y reproducción favorece al capital, en el cual las mujeres juegan tiene una participación relevante y no visibilizada sobre las relaciones que se gestan alrededor como en el caso del turismo es a través del ecofeminismo que se permite abordar la relación que existe entre la mujer y la naturaleza, el propósito de este trabajo es identificar la forma de vinculación con la naturaleza a través del turismo liderado por mujeres desde su localidad  a su vez que resisten los embates de un turismo masivo en un espacio frágil como lo es la Reserva de la Biosfera de Sian Ka´an, promoviendo una forma diferente de percibir al turismo que florece en el sur de México en Quintana Roo.

    Tourism is a high-consumption activity that utilizes both natural and cultural resources, contributing to the reproduction of capital. Despite this, the significant and often overlooked role that women play in the dynamics surrounding tourism is evident. Through the lens of ecofeminism, this study aims to examine the relationship between women and nature within the context of tourism. Specifically, it seeks to understand how women from local communities engage with nature through tourism while simultaneously resisting the impacts of mass tourism in delicate environments such as the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve. By promoting alternative perspectives on tourism, this research sheds light on the unique contributions of women-led initiatives shaping tourism practices in Quintana Roo, Mexico.
