    La investigación sobre las representaciones sociales (RS) de las sobrevivientes de trata con fines de explotación sexual y de quienes administran justicia y asumen su tutela y cuidado aporta información sobre su impacto en la vida después del rescate. La centralidad del prejuicio respecto a la explotación sexual es un elemento común entre todos los actores. Otro elemento común es el traslado parcial de la responsabilidad del delito hacia la sobreviviente y sus familias, culpando a las primeras por su conducta y a las segundas por su negligencia en el cuidado. Se individualiza las responsabilidades y se despolitiza el tema, liberando al Estado de su responsabilidad por generar condiciones propiciadoras para la trata de personas. Luego de su rescate una nueva relación asimétrica de poder las subordina y revictimiza al limitar sus derechos humanos bajo el argumento de protegerlas.

    Research on the social representations of survivors of trafficking for sexual exploitation and of those who administer justice and assume their guardianship and care provides information on their impact on life after rescue. The centralityof prejudice regarding sexual exploitation is a common element among all the actors. Another common element is the partial transfer of responsibility for the crime to the survivor and their families, blaming the former for their behavior and the latter for their carelessness. Responsibilities are individualized and the issue is depoliticized, freeing the State from its responsibility for generating conditions that are conducive to human trafficking. After their rescue, a new asymmetric power relationship subordinates and revictimizes them by limiting their human rights under the argument of protecting them.
