    El objetivo inicial del artículo consiste en mostrar el proceso de recepción e influencia de la filosofía de Paul Yorck von Wartenburg, principal corresponsal de Wilhelm Dilthey y destacado exponente de la filosofía de la vida entre finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX. El desconocimiento que hasta ahora ha prevalecido en nuestra lengua acerca de su obra hacen necesaria una breve reconstrucción biográfica y contextual, antes de presentar la tesis central del artículo, que consiste en mostrar cómo es que algunos de los conceptos clave de la filosofía del conde de Yorck encontraron una continuidad o se conectaron, primero con la filosofía fenomenológica de Martin Heidegger, y después con la hermenéutica de Hans-Georg Gadamer. Con este argumento, se busca recuperar la obra y el legado del conde de Yorck.

    The initial objective of the article is to show the process of reception and influence of the philosophy of Paul Yorck von Wartenburg, the main correspondent of Wilhelm Dilthey and an outstanding exponent of the philosophy of life between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th. The ignorance that until now has prevailed in our language [Spanish] about his work makes a brief biographical and contextual reconstruction necessary, before presenting the central thesis of the article, which consists of showing how some of the key concepts of the philosophy of the count of Yorck found a continuity or connection, first with the phenomenological philosophy of Martin Heidegger and later with the hermeneutics of Hans-Georg Gadamer. With this argument, it seeks to recover the work and legacy of the Earl of Yorck.
