Dispositivo "Bounce Light System" para enseñar óptica a estudiantes de educación primaria

    El objetivo de este artículo es compartir la experiencia didáctica al implementar el uso de un dispositivo, llamado Bounce Light System, diseñado para enseñar la reflexión de la luz en el nivel escolar y desarrollar el pensamiento científico. El análisis de la experiencia se desarrolló en tres fases: 1) diseño del dispositivo, 2) implementación del recurso didáctico y, 3) resultados de la implementación. Los participantes fueron 60 alumnos de ocho a diez años que cursaban el nivel de educación primaria en México. A partir de sistematizar la experiencia, se reconocen como ventajas de utilizar el dispositivo Bounce Light System; la comprensión de fenómeno de reflexión, el acercamiento al estudio de la óptica en la infancia, el desarrollo de habilidades científicas y actitudes, entre las que destaca el apren-dizaje en colaboración.

    The objective of this article is to share the didactic experience by implementing the use of a device, called Bounce Light System, de-signed to teach light reflection at the school level and develop scientific thinking. The analysis of the experience was developed in three phases: 1) design of the device, 2) implementation of the teaching resource and 3) results of the implementation. The participants were 60 students aged eight to ten years old who were attending primary education in Mexico. By systematizing the experience, the advantages of using the Bounce Light Systemdevice are recognized; the understanding of the phenomenon of reflection, the approach to the study of optics in childhood, the development of scientific skills and attitudes, among which collaborative learning stands out.
