Reflexiones sobre lo fáustico en Blumenberg

    Por medio del estudio de la última escena del Fausto de Goethe, se tratará de complementar la lectura blumenberguiana presente en el ensayo “La crisis de lo fáustico en la obra de Franz Kafka” con elementos presentes en el texto goethiano y que son fundamentales en el proyecto metaforológico de Blumenberg. En nuestro criterio, el elemento técnico no es la única clave de lectura de aquella escena, ya que allí se pueden detectar otros elementos blumenberguianos. Por ejemplo, se puede identificar la presencia del tema de la inquietud (Sorge), la metáfora de la luz y, finalmente, una variación de la metáfora del naufragio y de la dialéctica entre tierra y mar.

    Through the study of the last scene of Goethe’s Faust, I will try to complement the Blumenbergian interpretation present in the essay “The Crisis of the Faustian in the Work of Franz Kafka” with elements present in Goethe’s text and that are fundamental in Blumenberg’s metaphorological project. In my opinion the technical element is not the only key to reading that scene, since other Blumenbergian elements can be detected there. For example, we can identify the presence of the theme of restlessness (Sorge), the metaphor of light and, finally, a variation of the metaphor of the shipwreck and of the dialectic between land and sea.
