    La aparición en 1974 de la Antología de la poesía surrealista latinoamericana de Ştefan Baciu se traduce en un primer intento de teorizar una selección bretoniana de poetas y artistas de acuerdo con criterios bastante estrictos. Aunque la posición del autor rumano fue considerada demasiado rígida, se ha de destacar la importancia de sus principales tesis sobre el surrealismo que contribuyen a enfocar las existentes redes continentales del movimiento y a resaltar el papel de la traducción como vía de asimilación y sincronicidad cultural.

    The publication in 1974 of Ştefan Baciu’s Antología de la poesía surrealista latinoamericana represents a first attempt to theorize a selection of Bretonian poets and artists by drawing on strict criteria. Although the position of the Romanian author has been considered too rigid, it is necessary to understand the importance of his main theses on surrealism that contribute to emphasizing the existence of the continental networks of the movement and to highlighting the role of translation as a means of assimilation and of cultural synchronicity.

    La parution en 1974 de la Antología de la poesía surrealista latinoamericana de Ştefan Baciu se traduit par une première tentative de théorisation d’une sélection bretonienne de poètes et artistes selon des critères bien stricts. Bien que la position de l’auteur roumain ait été jugée trop rigide, il est nécessaire de souligner l’importance de ses principales thèses sur le surréalisme qui contribuent à mettre l’accent sur l’existence de réseaux continentaux du mouvement et à souligner le rôle de la traduction comme moyen d’assimilation et de synchronicité culturelle.
