    El estudio se centra en la cuenca media del río Bogotá, en la periferia occidental de la capital colombiana, para abordar sus complejas problemáticas territoriales, tanto paisajísticas como urbanas. La proliferación de proyectos urbanísticos, viviendas forma-les e informales, y la expansión industrial e infraestructural han generado desafíos físicos y legales que requieren una investigación exhaustiva. El artículo presenta una aproximación a los referentes conceptuales, con énfasis en esta la Guía metodológica: Estudio de paisaje, dirección y metodología de la Generalitat Valenciana como documento base, posteriormente se realiza el reconocimiento y delimitación física del área de estudio, el análisis de la evolución urbana y las deficiencias en las políticas de ordenamiento territorial y finalmente, se aborda el problema con la aplicación práctica de la guía, caracterizando el paisaje actual y proponiendo soluciones concretas. Este estudio piloto busca proporcionar una visión integral del territorio en Colombia, enriqueciendo el debate sobre la compleja realidad de la cuenca media del río Bogotá. Este proceso de investigación del segundo (Bolívar, 2020) y tercer ciclo (Actualmente) y se espera que los resultados orienten futuras investigaciones y acciones para mejo-rar la calidad de vida y el entorno ambiental de la región.

    The study focuses on the middle basin of the Bogotá River, on the western periphery of the Colombian capital, to address its complex territorial problems, both landscape and urban. The proliferation of urban projects, formal and informal housing, and industrial and infrastructural expansion have generated physical and legal challenges that require extensive investigation. The article presents an approach to the conceptu-al references, with emphasis on the methodological Guide: Landscape study, direc-tion and methodology of the Generalitat Valenciana as a base document, subsequent-ly the recognition and physical delimitation of the study area, the analysis of the ur-ban evolution and deficiencies in territorial planning policies and finally, the problem is addressed with the practical application of the guide, characterizing the current landscape and proposing concrete solutions. This pilot study seeks to provide a com-prehensive vision of the territory in Colombia, enriching the debate on the complex reality of the middle basin of the Bogotá River. This research process of the second (Bolívar, 2020) and third cycle (Currently) and the results are expected to guide future research and to improve the quality of life and the environmental environment of the region.
