    El artículo tiene como objetivo analizar la función que cumplen los partidos políticos en la construcción de la democracia sostenible. Para llevar adelante la investigación se aplicó un enfoque cualitativo con diseño no experimental de tipo documental con un alcance descriptivo. Como técnica de recolección de datos se utilizó el análisis documental. En efecto, las funciones que cumplen las agrupaciones políticas, como semilleros donde nacen los líderes que deberán llevar adelante y ejecutarán el proyecto del país que el soberano −pueblo− tiene como epicentro el orden constitucional, eje central de la vida de un país. En efecto, se muestra una visión constitucional del asunto, capaz de mirar a la política en el centro del intrincado mecanismo, que es la democracia. Se concluye que las herramientas con que cuenta el soberano, para concretar su proyecto de vida como país; agudizará su mirada del tema y comenzará a descubrir cómo y en qué medida la política es una herramienta amigable y no nefasta.

    The objective of this article is to analyze the role played by political parties in the construction of sustainable democracy. In order to carry out the research, a qualitative approach with a non-experimental design of documentary type with a descriptive scope was applied. Also, documentary analysis was used as a data collection technique. In effect, the functions that political groups fulfill, as the places where the leaders are born who will have to carry out and execute the project of the country that the sovereign - the people - have as epicenter the constitutional order, central axis of the life of a country. In effect, a constitutional vision of the matter is shown, capable of looking at politics at the center of the intricate mechanism that is democracy. It is concluded that the tools available to the sovereign to realize his life project as a country will sharpen his view of the subject and he will begin to discover how and to what extent politics is a friendly and not a harmful tool.
