    Este artículo tiene como propósito comprender los valores: como perspectivas actuales en los estudiantes como experiencia docente en la carrera de ingeniería civil de la Universidad Laica VICENTE ROCAFUERTE de Guayaquil. Esto implica el desarrollo de conocimientos, habilidades y actitudes que les permitan comprender y respetar las necesidades, perspectivas y acciones de otros. En la época actual, es necesario educar en valores, a las diferentes formas en que son entendidos y aplicados en la sociedad contemporánea. Los valores, como principios o creencias, guían el comportamiento humano y determinan lo que se considera importante y deseable, como la equidad, la diversidad y el desarrollo sostenible para formar ciudadanos responsables y comprometidos con la sociedad. La pedagogía actual debe centrarse en educar en lugar de atacar y debe fomentar la comprensión del proceso de aprendizaje para mejorar el desempeño académico de los estudiantes. Además, los valores juegan un papel importante en la mejora de la educación y la creación de entornos de aprendizaje, que promuevan el éxito de todos los estudiantes. La realidad evidencia que en la praxis no siempre se alcanza una educación para la vida. La investigación se circunscribe a un enfoque cualitativo, desde la perspectiva teórica del paradigma interpretativo, apoyada metodológicamente en la fenomenología. Los informantes clave están representados por cinco (5) docentes y veinte (20) estudiantes del primer semestre. Paralelo 1-A Nocturno, objeto de estudio, a quienes se les aplicó técnicas como: la entrevista en profundidad y observación participante. El rigor científico estuvo asociado a los criterios: confiabilidad, credibilidad y transferibilidad.

    The purpose of this article is to understand the values: as current perspectives in the students in the civil engineering career of the Laica Vicente Rocafuerte University in Guayaquil. This implies the development of knowledge, skills and attitudes that allow them to understand and respect the needs, perspectives and actions of others. In the current era, it is necessary to educate in values, in the different ways in which they are understood and applied in contemporary society. Values as principles or beliefs that guide human behavior and determine what is considered important and desirable. such as equity, diversity and sustainable development to train responsible citizens and committed to society. Today's pedagogy should focus on educating rather than attacking, and should foster understanding of the learning process in order to improve students' academic performance. In addition, Values plays an important role in improving education and creating learning environments that promote success for all students. reality shows that in practice an education for life is not always achieved. The research is circumscribed to a qualitative approach, from the theoretical perspective of the interpretive paradigm, methodologically supported by phenomenology. The key informants will be represented by five (5) teachers and 20 first semester students. Parallel 1-A Nocturnal object of study, to which techniques such as: in-depth interview and participant observation will be applied, scientific rigor will be associated with the criteria: reliability, credibility and transferability.
