    En este trabajo de investigación sobre la percepción y el conocimiento del espacio geográfico de alumnos de 5º y 6º de Educación Primaria de dos centros públicos de Asturias, se demuestra que los/las alumnos/as conocen y sitúan mejor los lugares de su entorno cercano que aquellos que se encuentran más alejados, salvo aquellos que tienen una relevancia social y/o cultural o en los que han desarrollado una experiencia significativa

    In this research work on the ability for the perception and aprehension of the geographical medium by students of the 5th and 6th degrees of the Educacion Primaria, in two Public Schools in Asturias, it is shown that students know and locate in a better way those places that are closer to their respective living area than those farther away, with the exception to those places that have a special social or cultural importance, or those where they have carried out any significant experience.
