    El objetivo del artículo es reponer y analizar algunas lecturas y conceptualizaciones críticas del Estado, que se han planteado desdela propia realidad latinoamericana, para comprender deforma más compleja e integral los rasgos específicos y también aquellas características generales que supone la estatalidad en nuestro continente. Ello supone asumir que el Estado constituye una instancia clave de condensación del poder político y de las relaciones de fuerzas que configuran y desgarran a la propia sociedad de la que, a su vez, forma parte. Consideramos que,si bien el marxismo europeo clásico brinda valiosos aportes para entender al Estado, es preciso complementar las hipótesis y conjeturas que han sido formuladas en otras latitudes, con aquellas gestadas en la región. Por lo tanto, pasaremos revista a algunas de las principales interpretaciones del Estado esbozadas desde y para América Latina dentro de la tradición neomarxista, las teorías feministas y por parte de ciertos exponentes del pensamiento crítico anticolonialgestado en nuestro continente, que más allá de sus matices y posibles contrastes, coinciden en la necesidad de aportar a una epistemología específica y situada, aunque sin desestimar las determinaciones y límites que impone el sistema-mundo con su configuración desigual y asimétrica

    The objective of the article is to review and analyze some critical readings and conceptualizations of the State, which have been raised from the Latin American reality itself, to understand in a more complex and comprehensive way the specific features andalso those general characteristics that statehood entails on our continent. This means assuming that the State constitutes a key instance of condensation of political power and the relations of forces that shape and tear apart the very society of which, in turn, it is a part. We consider that, although classical european marxism provides valuable contributions to understanding the State, it is necessary to complement the hypotheses and conjectures that have been formulated in other latitudes, with those developed in the region.Therefore, we will review some of the main interpretations of the State outlined from and for Latin America within the neo-marxist tradition, feminist theories and by certain exponents of anticolonial critical thought developed on our continent, which beyond its nuances and possible contrasts, agree on the need to contribute to a specific and situated epistemology, although without dismissing the determinations and limits imposed by the world-system with its unequal and asymmetric configuration
