    En este escrito se presenta una interpretación del discurso de 1843, “La confirmación en el hombre interior”. Se muestra la relación entre sus partes con el tema de la Paternidad Divina y también con otras temáticas tratadas en otras obras del filósofo danés. También se resaltan algunos momentos edificantes del discurso, que dan consuelo en la tantas veces atribulada vida humana, una vida que busca desesperadamente una fuerza que dote de sentido su existencia, una fuerza que, según Kierkegaard, sólo puede provenir del amor de un Padre celestial.

    This paper presents an interpretation of the 1843 discourse, “Strengthening in the Inner Being”. It shows the relationship between its parts and the theme of the Divine Paternity, as well as, with other topics treated in other works of the Danish philosopher. It also highlights some edifying moments in the discourse, which give comfort in the so often troubled human life, a life that desperately seeks a strength to give meaning to its existence, a strength that, according to Kierkegaard, can only come from the love of a heavenly Father.
