    ¿Qué hubiera pasado de ser otra la evolución del mundo hispánico tras el desastre de la Guerra de Independencia, 1808/1813? ¿Qué habríamos tenido de no haber sufrido las guerras civiles en la América española, 1810/1824? ¿Seríamos los hispanos, hispanoamericanos e hispanoeuropeos más fuertes? ¿Nuestra presencia en el mundo sería otra? ¿Nos habrían arrebatado los anglosajones medio continente? ¿Cuál sería nuestro potencial social, económico, militar, político y cultural? Las respuestas a estas preguntas obedecen a diversas variables, siendo múltiples las posibilidades, pero pretendemos evidenciar, respuestas en proximidad al concepto de unidad de los hispanos, en torno a una cultura, un idioma, y a unos valores compartidos morales y religiosos, con la Corona como piedra angular del sistema de territorios constituidos en Reinos, con una única política exterior común ejercida por vía diplomática y por vía militar, junto con una gran capacidad social y económica, la historia hubiese sido otra… incluso podría pasar todavía.

    What would have happened if the evolution of the Hispanic world had been diff erent after the disaster of the War of Independence 1808/1813? What would we have had if there had not been the civil wars in Spanish America 1810/1824? Would Hispanics, Hispanic Americans and Hispanic Europeans be stronger? Would our presence in the world be diff erent? Would the AngloSaxons have taken half of the continent from us? What would be our social, economic, military, political and cultural potential? The answers to these questions depend on various variables, the possibilities being multiple, but we intend to show that by responding in the belief in the unity of Hispanics, around a culture and a language, around values, and around the Crown as the cornerstone of the system of territories constituted as Kingdoms, with a single common foreign policy exercised through diplomatic and military channels, along with a large, enormous common social and economic space, history would have been diff erent... It could even happen yet.
