    Une fouille clandestine pratiquée en 2017 à Henchir Zlel, site archéologique de la région de Bou Arada, a fait apparaître une inscription gravée sur une architrave-frise. Le texte, une dédicace d’un temple à Minerve à l’époque des Sévères, donne, pour la première fois, le nom antique et le statut juridique de l’agglomération : ciuitas Valusitana.

    A clandestine excavation carried out at Henchir Zlel in 2017, an archaeological site in the Bou Arada region, revealed an inscription engraved on an architrave frieze. The text, a dedication of a temple to Minerva at the time of the Severan dynasty, gives, for the first time, the ancient name and the legal status of the agglomeration: ciuitas Valusitana.
