    La artesanía es una expresión material de la cultura de un país donde lo indígena, lo africano se han mezclado y fundido sin tener una clara división de donde empiezan o terminan posee sus propias característica y representa creencias, artes, valores, las prácticas y tradiciones que se transmiten de generación en generación, poseen la presencia de una memoria que vive en el espíritu del pueblo, que vive el presente poniendo en valor las experiencias ancestrales en la cotidianidad de su quehacer tal es el caso de la comunidad de Betichope donde se elabora desde tiempo ancestrales la herencia de los Kuikas la maravillosa artesanía de barro o loza producto realizado con la materia prima de la comunidad. Por esta razón este trabajo investigativo se desarrolló bajo el paradigma socio critico de carácter investigación colaborativa, con preguntas semi estructuradas a las actores relevantes como fueron las loceras de la comunidad y al artesano Sr Isidro Valera gracias a ellos se pudo lograr los objetivos propuestos.

    Craftsmanship is a material expression of the culture of a country where the indigenous and the African have mixed and merged without having a clear division of where they begin or end. It has its own characteristics and represents beliefs, arts, values, practices and traditions that They are transmitted from generation to generation, they have the presence of a memory that lives in the spirit of the people, who live in the present, valuing ancestral experiences in the daily life of their work, such is the case of the community of Betichope where it is made since ancestral time the heritage of the Kuikas the wonderful crafts of clay or earthenware product made with the raw materials of the community. For this reason, this investigative work was developed under the socio-critical paradigm of collaborative research, with semi-structured questions to the relevant actors such as the community potters and the artisan Mr. Isidro Valera, thanks to them the proposed objectives were achieved.
