    La pandemia por Covid-19 en el mundo, ha producido resultados globales que afectaron negativamente los entornos políticos, económicos y sociales. Por lo tanto, con el desarrollo de la investigación se buscó identificar y analizar las mejores evidencias científicas disponibles sobre las políticas públicas, la emergencia sanitaria y la calidad de vida de los latinoamericanos. Para cumplir con ello, se consultaron las bases de datos Scopus, Proquest, Scielo y Latindex restringiendo la búsqueda al idioma español, al periodo 2020-2022 y a la zona latinoamericana; se identificaron 32 artículos que tuvieron una mayor relación con el título y objetivo del presente estudio. Se encontró que el 44% de estos examinó las variables de políticas públicas y emergencia sanitaria; el 19% vinculó la emergencia sanitaria con la calidad de vida y el 37% exploró las políticas públicas, la emergencia sanitaria y la calidad de vida. Se concluyó que la pandemia ha impactado negativamente en la región latinoamericana y que su recuperación será un proceso complejo que requerirá una reestructuración significativa de políticas públicas para abordar las desigualdades agravadas, fortalecer los sistemas de salud y seguridad social, y fomentar una recuperación económica inclusiva y sostenible.

    The Covid-19 pandemic in the world has produced global results that negatively affected the political, economic and social environments. Therefore, with the development of the research, we sought to identify and analyze the best scientific evidence available on public policies, the health emergency and the quality of life of Latin Americans; To comply with this, the SCOPUS, PROQUEST, SCIELO and LATINDEX databases were consulted, restricting the search to the Spanish language, to the period 2020-2022 and to the Latin American area; identifying 32 articles that have a greater relationship with the title and objective of this study; It was found that 44% of these examined the public policy and health emergency variables; 19% linked health emergencies with quality of life and 37% explored public policies, health emergencies and quality of life. It was determined as a general conclusion that the pandemic has negatively impacted the Latin American region and that its recovery will be a complex process that will require a significant restructuring of public policies to address aggravated inequalities, strengthen health and social security systems, and promote a inclusive and sustainable economic recovery.
