    La crisis sistémica del turismo es un fenómeno que afecta al sector turístico a nivel global, y que se caracteriza por la pérdida de competitividad, la disminución de la demanda, el deterioro ambiental y social, y la falta de adaptación a los cambios tecnológicos y de mercado. Esta crisis tiene múltiples causas y consecuencias, y requiere de soluciones integrales y sostenibles que involucren a todos los actores del sector. La crisis sistémica del turismo plantea desafíos para el desarrollo del turismo en Cuba, ya que requiere de una visión estratégica, una gestión integrada y una adaptación constante a los cambios del entorno. A partir de un análisis del comportamiento del flujo de turistas internacionales y sus escenarios a fin de anticipar posibles situaciones futuras, se han tenido en cuenta en este trabajo los factores internos y externos que pudieran influir en el desarrollo turístico. Asimismo, se compararon los casos de estudio de los principales destinos turísticos del Caribe insular y el Caribe mexicano. Finalmente se argumentan los desafíos para el desarrollo del turismo en Cuba.

    The systemic crisis of tourism is a phenomenon that affects the tourism sector globally, and is characterized by the loss of competitiveness, the decrease in demand, environmental and social deterioration, and the lack of adaptation to technological and market. This crisis has multiple causes and consequences and requires comprehensive and sustainable solutions that involve all actors in the sector. The systemic tourism crisis poses challenges for the development of tourism in Cuba, since it requires a strategic vision, integrated management and constant adaptation to changes in the environment. An analysis of the behavior of the flow of international tourists and their scenarios was carried out in order to anticipate possible future situations, taking into account internal and external factors that could influence tourism development. Likewise, the case studies of the main tourist destinations in the insular Caribbean and the Mexican Caribbean were compared. Finally, the challenges for the development of tourism in Cuba are argued.
