    En un intento por analizar la sorprendente evolución de la República Romana durante los siglos IV-IIl a. C., hemos estudiado el acceso a las principales magistraturas del Estado por parte de los nuevos integrantes de las clases privilegiadas de origen plebeyo. Paralelamente hemos procedido de igual forma con las familias patricias. Bajo ambos campos de estudio y siguiendo la evolución por etapas, creemos que pueden extraerse unas interesantes conclusiones sobre cómo evolucionó la República y por qué. Y, especialmente, desnudar las manipulaciones historiográfícas que se han producido sobre este proceso desde el mismo siglo II AC.

    With the purpose of analysing the surprising evolution of the Republican Rome during the 4th and 3rd centuries, we've studied the access to the main magistracies of the State of the new members of rich classes that had a popular origin. In the same way we've tried it with the families who had a patrician origin. Through these studies and following their evolution in stages, we think we can drive some interesting conclusions about how Republican Rome evolved and why. And, specially, to uncover the historiographic manipulations which have happened on this process since the just 2nd century BC.
