    El crecimiento urbano de la ciudad de Ibiza a lo largo del siglo XX se extendió sobre el llano que rodea el núcleo antiguo, borrando las huellas de los caminos históricos que por siglos comunicaron el puerto con el interior. El presente estudio realiza un análisis de la evolución y de la situación actual de estos caminos. El análisis permite elaborar una serie de propuestas enfocadas, no sólo a su recuperación desde el punto de vista patrimonial, sino también a su inclusión dentro de la matriz ecológica de la región y su regeneración como itinerarios integrados en la movilidad de la ciudad. A partir de este estudio, tanto el Ayuntamiento como las asociaciones de vecinos, han comenzado a recuperar los antiguos caminos.

    The urban growth of the city of Ibiza throughout the 20th century spread over the plain that surrounds the old center, erasing the traces of the historic roads that for centuries connected the port with the interior. This study analyzes the historical evolution and the current situation of these roads. The analysis allows the elaboration of a series of proposals focused not only on its recovery from the heritage point of view but also on its inclusion within the ecological matrix of the region and its regeneration as integrated itineraries in the mobility of the city. Based on this project, both the city council and the neighbors have started the work to recover these old roads.
