    La autodeterminación de los pueblos es uno de los desafíos más grande de la humanidad. El conocer, develar e interpretar los códigos que integran el imaginario colectivo de los pueblos latinoamericanos, constituye una tarea titánica que desde la escuela se viene desarrollando mediante el diseño de estrategias que acerquen a una real emancipación a las culturas minoritarias (indígenas, afrodescendientes, inmigrantes). El objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar la autodeterminación de los pueblos afrodescendientes en el marco de una educación pluricultural, multilingüe e inclusiva a partir de una revisión bibliográfica. Investigación desarrollada bajo el paradigma positivista, enfoque cuantitativo, modalidad documental, apoyada en una revisión bibliográfica del tipo analítica-descriptiva. Empleándose el fichaje y el cuaderno de notas para la recolección de datos y el análisis de contenido como técnica de análisis de la información. Como resultado se obtuvo que, en los códigos del imaginario colectivo de esta población, aún persisten vestigios que limitan su autodeterminación como pueblos afrodescendientes de América Latina, en contradicción al momento histórico actual que ofrece las mayores posibilidades legales, organizativas e integracionistas.

    The self-determination of peoples is one of the greatest challenges of humanity. Knowing, revealing andinterpreting the codes that make up the collective imagination of Latin American peoples constitutes a daunting task that has been developed since school through the design of strategies that bring minority cultures (indigenous, Afro-descendants, immigrants) closer to a real emancipation). The objective of this research was to analyze the self-determination of Afro-descendant peoples within the framework of a multicultural, multilingual and inclusive education based on a bibliographic review. Research developed under the positivist paradigm, quantitative approach, documentary modality, supported by an analytical-descriptive bibliographic review. Using the signingand the notebook for data collection and content analysis as a technique of information analysis. As a result, it was obtained that in the codes of the collective imagination of this population, vestiges still persist that limit their self-determination as Afro-descendant peoples of Latin America, in contradiction to the current historical moment that offers the greatest legal, organizational and integrationist possibilities.
