Desafíos, oportunidades y soluciones en el entorno de aprendizaje práctico clínico durante la pandemia de COVID-19

    RESUMEN Introducción: Una crisis social ha irrumpido las perspectivas que hasta entonces se concebían como normales en los ámbitos que la humanidad se ha desarrollado, su catalizador resultó en específico en la salud, la pandemia por COVID-19, que afecta los escenarios de aprendizaje, como el práctico clínico, ha retirado de manera intempestiva a sus protagonistas y ha generado incertidumbre en todo el proceso enseñanza aprendizaje en las carreras de la salud. Objetivo: Analizar los testimonios que evidencian los desafíos y oportunidades que se han presentado en el entorno de aprendizaje práctico clínico durante la pandemia, así como las posibles soluciones que avizoran durante y posterior a esta. Métodos: Se realizó una búsqueda bibliográfica en relación a la variable de estudio: aprendizaje práctico clínico, con diseño descriptivo, a partir de 53 artículos científicos originales elegidos, de naturaleza cuantitativa y cualitativa, publicaciones tanto en idioma inglés como en español, de las cuales 29 pertenecieron a bases de datos Scopus y 3 a SciELO; se llevó a cabo una lectura crítica y exhaustiva desde el 1 junio al 31 de agosto de 2021. El análisis se llevó a cabo de forma inductiva. Conclusiones: La pandemia de COVID-19 ha demostrado que existen otros ambientes que se deben tener en cuenta por las oportunidades y ventajas que ofrecen para una formación híbrida, oportuna y pertinente en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje y que su incorporación al currículo debe tratarse próximamente, sin aminorar el significado de que el componente práctico clínico en las carreras de la salud es insustituible.

    ABSTRACT Introduction: A social crisis has disrupted the perspectives that, until then, were conceived as normal in the areas where humanity has developed; its catalyst was very specific in health: the COVID-19 pandemic, which affects learning scenarios, such as clinical practice. It has untimely withdrawn its protagonists and generated uncertainty throughout the learning process in the health majors. Objective: To analyze the testimonies showing the challenges and opportunities arisen in the clinical practice learning scenario during the pandemic, as well as the possible solutions that they predict during and after the pandemic. Methods: A bibliographic search was conducted in relation to the study variable (clinical practice learning), with a descriptive design, from 53 original scientific articles chosen, of quantitative and qualitative nature, publications in both English and Spanish, of which 29 and 3 belonged to the Scopus and SciELO databases, respectively. A critical and exhaustive reading was carried out from June 1 to August 31, 2021. The analysis was performed inductively. Conclusions: The COVID-19 pandemic has shown that there are other scenarios that should be taken into account due to the opportunities and advantages that they offer for hybrid, timely and relevant training in the teaching-learning process, as well as the fact that their incorporation into the curriculum should be addressed soon, without lessening the significance that the clinical practical component in the health majors is irreplaceable.
