De la gauchesca a El niño Argentino: viaje, aprendizajes y desventuras en el teatro argentino contemporáneo

    El presente artículo propone un estudio sobre la obra El niño Argentino (2006) de Mauricio Kartun con el fin de analizar, reflexionar e identificar los diversos medios (literatura, música, danza, entre otros) que la pieza argentina pone en juego con el objeto de crear una mezcla paradigmática que es propia del teatro de este autor y director. En este sentido, pretendemos analizar las relaciones intermediales que se producen en esta obra y que evidencian una forma de volver sobre el pasado artístico de nuestra región al mismo tiempo que se preocupan por revisar el pasado nacional. Además, en este escrito nos interesa profundizar sobre los aprendizajes, las aventuras y desventuras que los protagonistas de la obra experimentan en su viaje de América a Europa, recuperando la fórmula dicotómica civilización-barbarie, y cómo los personajes se modifican, crecen, evolucionan e involucionan en este pasaje fronterizo.

    This article proposes a study on the work El niño Argentino (2006), by Mauricio Kartun in order to analyze, reflect and identify the various media (literature, music, dance, among others) that the Argentine piece brings into play with the object of creating a paradigmatic mix that is typical of the theater of this author and director. In this sense, we intend to analyze the intermediary relationships that occur in this work and that demonstrate a way of returning to the artistic past of our region at the same time that it is concerned with reviewing the national past. Furthermore, in this writing we are interested in delving into the learning, adventures and misadventures that the protagonists of the work experience on their journey from America to Europe, recovering the dichotomous civilization-barbarism formula, and how the characters modify, grow, evolve and they devolve in this border crossing.
