    Resumen:

    Los años finales de la dictadura franquista fueron momentos de una importante movilización antifranquista, desde diferentes territorios y espectros sociales. Como contrapartida, la represión también fue en aumento. En dicha violencia estatal, la Brigada Político Social (BPS), jugó un papel relevante, ya que era la policía encargada de los delitos políticos y uno de los pilares del régimen para hacer frente a la “subversión”. La idea de este artículo es analizar la actuación de los agentes de este Cuerpo contra las diferentes militancias contra la dictadura, sus orígenes y sus cambios a la largo de la dictadura. También ver como la oposición se enfrentó en los años del tardofranquismo a esta represión, si le hizo frente o no y con qué intensidad.

    Abstract:

    The final years of the Franco dictator ship were moments of important anti-Franco mobilization, from different territories and social spectrums. On the other hand, repression also increased. In this state violence, the Social Political Brigade (BPS) played a relevant role, since it was the police in charge of political crimes and one of the pillars of the regime to confront “subversion.” The idea of this article is to analyze how the agents of this Corps acted against the different militancy against the dictatorship, its origins and its changes through out the dictatorship. Also see how the opposition faced this repression in the late Franco years, whether it faced it or not and with what intensity.
