    Entre 1968 y 1972 el Estado franquista sentó las bases estructurales de un entramado represivo centrado en el combate de la subversión social y la disidencia política, un esfuerzo en el que jugaron un papel destacado los servicios militares de inteligencia. El origen de esa pugna y de los mecanismos empleados para su supresión hunde sus raíces en la Guerra Civil y en la reordenación del Ejército realizada en la inmediata posguerra, la cual llevaría a definir y poner en marcha una serie de instrumentos de control interno de las unidades militares que tendrían hondas repercusiones en la sociedad civil. El presente artículo ofrece las primeras conclusiones extraídas del estudio sistemático de los Boletines y notas de información elaborados por los Servicios de Inteligencia a lo largo de la Dictadura, ofreciendo una nueva perspectiva sobre los mecanismos de control social empleados por el régimen durante sus últimos años.

    Between 1968 and 1972, the Francoist state laid the structural foundations of a repressive framework focused on combating social subversion and political dissent, an effort in which military intelligence services played a prominent role. The origin of this struggle and the mechanisms used for its suppression are rooted in the Civil War and the reorganization of the Army carried out in the immediate post-war period, which led to the definition and implementation of a series of internal control instruments in military units that would have profound repercussions on civil society. This article offers the initial conclusions drawn from the systematic study of the Bulletins and information notes prepared by the Intelligence Services throughout the Franco´s rule, providing a new perspective on the social control mechanisms employed by the regime during its final years.
