    O presente trabalho é um recorte da tese de doutoramento em educação. O objetivo do texto é apresentar o conceito “Pedagogias Cristãs”. A questão norteadora do trabalho é: como a mídia operada por religiões cristianizadas difundem representações sociais sobre gênero e sexualidades por meio de uma pedagogia cristã? Para amparar a discussão, foi selecionado como referencial teórico a Teoria das Representações Sociais sistematizada por Serge Moscovici. Com isso, pretendemos debater como essas Pedagogias Cristãs distorcem conceitos científicos e fazem circular versões de realidade. Por fim, o artigo pretende entregar como resultado discussões no campo das representações sociais, religião, política e mídia sobre o processo constitutivo das Pedagogias Cristãs na sociedade brasileira.

    Abstract: the present work is an excerpt from the doctoral thesis in education. The objective of this work is to present the founding concept of the thesis known as “Christian Pedagogies”. The guiding question of the work is: how did the media operated by Christian religions through the propagation of social representations about gender and sexualities develop a Christian pedagogy? To support the discussion, the Theory of Social Representations systematized by Serge Moscovici was selected as a theoretical reference. With this, we intend to discuss how these Christian Pedagogies distort scientific concepts and circulate versions of reality. Finally, the article intends to deliver as a result discussions in the field of social representations, religion, politics and media about the constitutive process of Christian Pedagogies in Brazilian society.
