  • This paper analyzes the state of information systems in Greek schools, focusing on theirintegration, effectiveness, and challenges. It uses a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitativedata from surveys and qualitative insights from interviews. The study reveals significant disparities indigital infrastructure, with urban schools benefiting from advanced systems while rural schools facebasic issues like poor internet access and outdated hardware. Despite government efforts, gaps in ITtraining for educators and concerns over data privacy remain. The COVID-19 pandemic highlightedexisting weaknesses but also spurred improvements. Recommendations include increased investment ininfrastructure, enhanced educator training, and stronger data security policies.
