    El malecón 2000 al ser considerado un importante parque urbano que forma parte del proceso de regeneración urbana de la parte céntrica de la ciudad, se ha catapultado como un atractivo turístico de renombre a nivel nacional e internacional. Es por este motivo que el presente ensayo tiene como objetivo realizar un análisis socio – productivo de este parque urbano de la ciudad de Guayaquil, para lograr recopilar información se utilizó la investigación bibliográfica. A través del estudio se destacó los aspectos económicos, sociales, culturales y ambientales y se buscó demostrar cuales han sido los impactos y beneficios que han acarreado para el desarrollo integral de la ciudad. Esta investigación mediante sus conclusiones muestra los impactos positivos de cada uno de los aspectos analizados, en relación con el desarrollo del turismo en este atractivo, realzando la importancia para el progreso integral de la ciudad.

    The Malecon 2000 being considered an important urban park that is part of the process of urban regeneration of the downtown part of the city, has catapulted itself as a tourist attraction of renown nationally and internationally. It is for this reason that the present essay aims to perform a socio - productive analysis of this urban park in the city of Guayaquil, in order to collect information, bibliographic research was used. The study highlighted the economic, social, cultural and environmental aspects and sought to demonstrate the impacts and benefits that have led to the integral development of the city. This essay through its conclusions shows the positive impacts of each of the aspects analyzed, in relation to the development of tourism in this attraction, highlighting the importance for the integral progress of the city.
