  • Resumen
    • In an earlier paper I argued that the revised version of the Vulgate New Testament preserved in Madrid was the Latin version intended to be used in the Complutensian Poliglot alongside the Greek text. The presence of line-end and page-end marks in the MS was put forward as evidence. In this paper certain other marks in the manuscript, namely double dots and underlines, are shown to be further proof of the purpose for which the translation was compiled. Another feature of the manuscript, triple dots with marginal notes, is also noticed.
