The teachings that take place in the official music conservatories are of a regulated nature, have a high level of specialisation, and enrolment is not compulsory for all citizens. These characteristics do not imply that diversity in the classroom should not be addressed. In the research that we have carried out within a qualitative methodology, centred on a case study and with the use of interview techniques, document review and non-participant observation, the research objectives are related to the professional training of teachers of conservatory in attention to the TEA, the educational action in attention to the diversity and the improvements that the musical practice contributes to the students with TEA. The results revealed that there are gaps in the initial training of teachers in attention to diversity, the teaching performance in attention to students with ASD is linked to the constant exchange of information with the family and cognitive and social interaction improvements are abundant, although there are certain difficulties in the acquisition of the instrumental technique.
