    El artículo ofrece una exploración detallada de las variables que influyen en la producción agrícola en Colombia con un enfoque en la anticipación estratégica; esto, a través de la búsqueda de literatura académica y científica, que permitió identificar y analizar las variables teóricas, intermedias y empíricas relevantes en el estudio del sector agrícola. En primer lugar, se revisan las variables teóricas fundamentales que proporcionan el marco conceptual para entender la producción agrícola y la anticipación estratégica; a continuación, se exploran las variables intermedias, que actúan como mediadoras entre la teoría y la práctica, facilitando la comprensión de los mecanismos subyacentes que influyen en el sector agrícola colombiano; finalmente, se examinan las variables empíricas específicas, que permiten una comprensión más concreta de la realidad agrícola del país y su capacidad para anticipar y gestionar los riesgos. Como reflexiones se tiene el análisis enfocado a la comprensión de estas variables y factores que interactúan entre sí y con el entorno ambiental, influyendo en los procesos de toma de decisiones y planificación en el sector agrícola. Se concluye la importancia de una visión integral y estructurada de las variables y factores de anticipación estratégica para informar y orientar la toma de decisiones y políticas que promuevan un desarrollo agrícola sostenible y resiliente en el país

    The article offers a detailed exploration of the key variables and factors that influence agricultural production in Colombia with a focus on strategic anticipation; through an exhaustive review of the academic and scientific literature, the theoretical variables are identified and analyzed. relevant intermediaries and empirics in the study of the agricultural sector. First, the fundamental theoretical variables that provide the conceptual framework to understand agricultural production and strategic anticipation are reviewed; Next, the intermediate variables are explored, which act as mediators between theory and practice, facilitating the understanding of the underlying mechanisms that influence the Colombian agricultural sector; Finally, specific empirical variables are examined, which allow a more concrete understanding of the country’s agricultural reality and its ability to anticipate and manage risks. The analysis focuses on understanding how these variables and factors interact with each other and with the socioeconomic, political and environmental environment and how they influence decision-making and planning processes in the agricultural sector. The importance of a comprehensive and structured vision of the strategic anticipation variables and factors is highlighted to inform and guide decision- making and policies that promote sustainable and resilient agricultural development in the country
