    Estas breves notas reflexionan a partir y sobre la experiencia y situación del filósofo latinoamericano (lo que no quita su eventual extensión a otros contextos). Partiendo de la crítica realizada por Marx a la ideología alemana, de la crítica del rol reservado al intelectual en el autoproclamado “marxismo-leninismo”, de la crítica de Salazar Bondy a la alienación de la supuesta filosofía latinoamericana de su época, y de las reservas de Zea a esa crítica, y de la evaluación de los avatares filosófico-políticos de los llamados posmodernos, sustento que cabe hoy al filósofo un papel que no debe ser ideológico ni tampoco se deja caracterizar como el de un “intelectual orgánico”; comprometido con la causa de los oprimidos en todas las esferas (económica, política, pedagógica, ambiental, sexual, cultural-intercultural, comunicacional y geopolítica), de él se espera que comparta sus luchas y al mismo tiempo guarde una lúcida exterioridad crítica ante las mismas, para mejor servirles en perspectiva autocorrectiva y prospectiva.

    These brief notes reflect from and on the experience and situation of the Latin American philosopher (which does not remove its eventual extension to other contexts). Starting from the critique made by Marx of German ideology, from the critique of the role reserved for the intellectual in the self-proclaimed “Marxism-Leninism”, from Salazar Bondy's critique of the alienation of the supposed Latin American philosophy of his time, and from the Zea's reservations to this criticism, and to the evaluation of the philosophical-political vicissitudes of the socalled postmodernists, a support that today fits the philosopher a role that should not be ideological nor does it allow itself to be characterized as that of an “organic intelectual”; Committed to the cause of the oppressed in all spheres (economic, political, pedagogical, environmental, sexual, cultural-intercultural, communicational and geopolitical), he is expected to share their struggles and at the same time keep a lucid critical exteriority before the themselves, to better serve them in a selfcorrecting and prospective perspective.
