    Más allá de interpretaciones, lo cierto es que según avanza el siglo XXI se confirma, a nuestro juicio, lo que algunos han denominado "colapso epistémico", con profundas implicaciones para los presupuestos filosóficos básicos y cuyas manifestaciones antropológicas, éticas y políticas se evidencian en la vida diaria.

    Desde esta clave se tiene que comprender esta reflexión: el anhelo por adentrarse en las entrañas del pensamiento español del siglo XXI; es decir, en sus raíces más profundas. Pues solo desde el esfuerzo por comprender a nuestros contemporáneos se puede vivir auténticamente el imperativo evangélico de dar razón (logos) de nuestra fe. Y sin infravalorar que la incertidumbre o la conciencia trágica están socioculturalmente muy extendidas, pensamos que es también manifiesta la nostalgia de una filosofía primera que permita mantener cierta esperanza en medio de tanta perplejidad como provoca la irrupción del nuevo mundo adveniente.

    Regadless of interpretations, what is certain is that as the 21st century progresses, in our opinion, what some have called "epistemic collapse" is being confirmed, with profound implications for basic philosophical assumptions and whose anthropological, ethical and political manifestations are evident in everyday life.

    It is from this key that this work must be understood: the desire to delve into the core of Spanish throught in the 21st century; that is to say, into its deepest roots. For only by striving to understand our contemporaries can we authentically live the Gospel imperative of providing a reason (logos) for our faith. And without underestimating the fact that uncertainty and tragic awareness are socio-culturally very widespread, we think that the nostalgia for a first philosophy which allows us to maintain a certain hope in the midst of so much perplexity caused by the irruption of the new world to come is also manifest.
