    Este trabajo tiene por objetivo explorar las estrategias lingüísticas y pragmáticas en náhuatl. Analiza cómo el discurso de un juicio refleja tensiones que se suscitan en las interacciones colectivas y cómo estas influyen en las estrategias discursivas que la gente usa al momento de la impartición de justicia. A través del análisis de la lengua será posible conocer las características lingüísticas que se utilizan en los juicios y las intenciones que motivan a los hablantes al usar dichas características. Con esta investigación se contribuye tanto al estudio descriptivo de esta lengua como a los análisis antropológicos que abordan la relación lengua-cultura.

    This article explores the linguistic and pragmatic strategies in Nahuatl. It analyses how the discourse of a trial reflects tensions that arise in collective interactions and how these tensions influence the discursive strategies that people use when delivering justice. Through the analysis of the language, it is possible to know the linguistic characteristics used in trials and the intentions that motivate speakers to use such features. This research contributes both to the descriptive study of this language and to the anthropological analysis that addresses the language-culture relationship.
