Resumen de Los Miranda y la casa principal de su mayorazgo en Baza (siglos XVI-XX)

  La casa del mayorazgo de los Miranda, construcción de los siglos XVI-XVII con remodelaciones en el tránsito del Ochocientos al Novecientos, está catalogada en el PGOU de Baza (2010) como inmueble de valor singular por sus valores arquitectónicos, por su patio y por su fachada principal con portada de cantería coronada por el escudo familiar. Como paso previo a su estudio esbozaremos una biografía de los Miranda, desde su llegada a la ciudad a principios del siglo XVII hasta principios del siglo XX, momento en el que se pierde toda relación entre la casa y la familia, tras su venta en 1909.

  The house of the mayorazgo of the Miranda, construction of the XVI-XVII centuries with remodelling in the transit of the eight hundred to the nine hundred, is cataloged in the PGOU (Baza, 2010) as a property of singular value for its architectural values, for its patio and for its main façade with stonework cover crowned by the family shield. As a previous step to its study we will outline a biography of the Miranda, from their arrival in the city in the early seventeenth century until the early twentieth century, at which time all relationship between the house and the family is lost, after its sale in 1909.
