    • The implementation of “Traditional Games in the Classroom” contributed to generating a greater bond between parents and the educational process of kindergarten students and their comprehensive education. Through this experience, the strengthening of the commitment of parents to the educational processes of kindergarten students in an educational institution in the city of Ibagué, Tolima, Colombia, was evidenced. This qualitative approach experience involved 10 parents and 50 students. The information was collected through the application of surveys and interviews. According to main findings, it stands out that parents of families created a new awareness about the importance of accompanying and supporting their children in their school performance; Likewise, the recognition of traditional games as a means to strengthen the learning of students and the rescue of our traditions. Finally, students and parents agree on the importance of continuing this type of activity.
