    La Casa-Museo de Emilia Pardo Bazán, que comparte espacio con la Real Academia Gallega, desde el año 1956, momento en que se hizo la donación de la que había sido vivienda familiar de la escritora en La Coruña, es la sede de su legado, legado que nos permite conocer en profundidad y difundir la obra creativa y universal de esta gran escritora y pensadora.Entre este legado: archivo, biblioteca, pinturas... se encuentran también cinco tapices flamencos y franceses tejidos en los siglos XVI y XVII. Tapices comprados posiblemente en anticuarios madrileños a finales del siglo XIX o en los primeros años del siglo XX.Estos tapices ya decoraban las diferentes estancias de su casa madrileña: el vestíbulo, sala, comedor,... y son numerosas las imágenes fotográficas que dan testimonio del interés de la escritora por el arte de la tapicería.

    The House-Museum of Emilia Pardo Bazán, which shares space with the Royal Galician Academy, since 1956, when the donation of what had been the writer's family home in La Coruña was made, is the headquarters of her legacy. A legacy that allows us to know in depth and broadcast the creative and universal work of this great writer and thinker.Among her legacy: archive, library, paintings... there are also five Flemish and French tapestries woven in the 16th and 17th centuries. These Tapestries were possibly purchased in antique dealers’ shops at Madrid at the end of the 19th century or in the first years of the 20th century.These tapestries already decorated the different rooms of her Madrid house: the hall, living room, dining room,... and there are numerous photographic images that testify the writer's interest in the art of tapestry.
