With the objective of analyzing the results that an autism workshop aimed at special education students has in their social interaction, communication and adaptive behavior, the present study is carried out through action research with an explanatory level of knowledge. The sample was made up of ten type cases that present Autism Spectrum Disorder. The results show a positive and notable difference in terms of the way of interacting: imitation of models when singing, dancing, saying phrases, greeting and saying goodbye allowing physical contact; in relation to communication: most of what they express makes sense, they indicate what they need and, in short, they have functional communication; in their adaptive behavior: they accept different activities, they no longer hit each other, they can attend social events, they sleep normally and they are able to relax. It can be concluded that with the implementation of the workshop the capacities of the students have been potentiated, thus improving their quality of life, for which it is constituted as a proposal for psycho-pedagogical intervention that helps to reduce the barriers to learning and the participation of students with ASD.
