    La historia de un edificio es la de sus dueños, de las personas que lo han construido, vivido, sentido y utilizado. Este molino, integrado en el Real Patrimonio, ha visto cambio de reyes y de dinastías antes de ser vendido a la familia Mergelina, quienes lo poseyeron en riguroso mayorazgo hasta el siglo XIX y, luego, hasta la mitad del XX, aunque esa vinculación jurídica ya no existiera. Hoy, sin actividad industrial y de propiedad municipal, afronta un cambio de función para adaptarlo a un uso público, expositivo y didáctico.

    The history of a building is that of its owners, of the people who have built it, lived, felt and used it. This mill, integrated in the Royal Heritage, has seen change of kings and dynasties before being sold to the Mergelina family, who owned it in strict majority until the nineteenth century and, then, until the middle of the 20th century even if that legal link no longer existed. Today, without industrial activity and municipal property, it faces a change of function to adapt it to public use, exhibition and teaching.
